@HertsLearning @moffat_andrew 4. The children respectfully agreeing and disagreeing with each other building on each others’ ideas
5. Andrew’s session after school which really hit home how vital this work is. The whole team were inspired by his personal and professional experiences.
A fantastic day of ‘No Outsiders’ with @moffat_andrew! The children discussed overcoming disabilities, challenging stereotypes, embracing our differences, valuing varied family structures and helping others. Thank you to @HertsLearning for the opportunity to host!
@HertsLearning @moffat_andrew So many to choose from! 1. The Y2 children making a club for everyone and being ‘more duck’
2. The Y1 children (and teachers!) riding a ‘great dano to visit the volcano!’
3. The Y3 children exclaiming that leaving people out is like segregation

Developing world citizens and within that the place of the reading curriculum, and work to address gender stereotyping, reducing inequalities - a global issue and we all have a part to play. Sophie Driver of @HighoverJMI Thank you. #ThatsMeHfL
How might we make clear how each lesson enables our learners to make things better for their community - be it local or global? @HighoverJMI will have some answers next week. Reply to this and prime them with your ideas #education#Teaching#learning#creativity
Hoping that this blog both resonates and provokes thought. We will never have enough time to share all the books that we want to with our children, so our choices much be well-considered. Thank you for reading.
With thanks to @HighoverJMI for your contribution.
My son has just returned from his PGL trip tired but happy. I’m feeling a bit emotional about the fact that he actually managed to get there. Big up @HighoverJMI staff for making sure this went ahead despite last minute staff isolations.
Great to hear from @HighoverJMI about the Y6 students joining us @HitchinGirls in September! We can’t wait to meet you in person! #newintake21#hgscommunity

Clare used her #PayItForward for the hardship fund at @HighoverJMI helping families who need a bit of extra support. Buying uniform, school shoes, books for children to have at home, just a few of the ways it helps those in need. #WherePeopleMatter#GiveKindness
The day is going really well so far. The children have adapted very quickly to the new staggered break and lunch times. We have an amazing 98.63% attendance rate today! LH
