Nick Clegg has become a VC and is joining london-based Hiro Capital!

The ex-Deputy Prime Minister and Meta Exec has joined the European Fund as it looks to raise its third fund - this one of $500m!

Hiro Capital is a European multi-stage VC, focused on Spatial AI, Robotics, Longevity, Games, Space & Defence, and is looking to invest between €5m and €50m into companies in the UK and Europe.

Meta's outgoing Chief AI Scientist Yann LeCun (@ylecun) is also joining as an advisor.

The HIRO founding team of Luke Alvarez, Cherry Freeman and Ian Livingstone have a great track record with multiple exits and IPOs between them totalling >€10bn.

This is a SUPER interesting move. Nick Clegg has gone Politics > Big Tech > VC - quite the career.
