Family, Friends, Community, and a Lifetime of Adventures is what makes me fulfilled. With a heavy dose of common sense excluding my love of the Chicago Bears
Didn’t think George had it in him. Well done.
As a Bears PSL owner and season ticket holder, I would have preferred the Bears stay in Illinois. But after years of delays, politics, and inaction, it was only a matter of time before the organization pursued the path that made the most business sense.
Illinois was given every opportunity.
Another self-inflicted loss for state leadership in a generation-long streak of missed opportunities.
Great decision by all involved.
Sometimes it doesn’t work out exactly how you expected but getting that moment with your family and for yourself shows respect for the work they all put in together for it, mark it together, and use as fuel to prove people that passed on him wrong - same principle applies to anything in life.
My view is equity markets will be good long term, building skills and owning your own company good long term, holding real estate as a large amount of your net worth and or debt tied to it bad long term. Preserve optionality.
Be location independent, live where you want to live long term, build sustainable cost structure and balance sheet to live in accordance with that vision is the key to success.
@ChicagoBears@lutherburden3 Was in SF for his breakout game. Quickly becoming one of my favorite Bear players and can confirm watching him as a STH he is an absolute Dawg! We are lucky to have him.
Amen! Followed this blueprint and it works. If you can get there sooner than 40s even better and continue building and having complete freedom to spend your time how you want and whom you want with is something that has driven me from an early age. Money is just the vehicle to do it.
@AdamSchefter Winner! Ben has changed the culture, won ahead of schedule, and brought more joy to Chicago and its fans in such a short amount of time it’s hard to even put into words. 1 of 1.
The Wieners Circle, an iconic hotdog stand on the north side of Chicago, promised free hotdogs for everyone if Bears HC Ben Johnson took off his shirt. Well….hot dogs, anyone?
1000%.
Parents should be focused and appreciate the life lessons sports teaches their children. Such as being a great teammate to achieve collective success while demonstrating discipline,
effort, and capability development in order for them to be successful individually in their respective role on the team. Mindset carries for their entire life.
