The Southern Lights - Aurora Australis
Most of us have heard of the Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis but the lesser-known Aurora Australis can be found in parts of New Zealand, Tasmania and Southern Australia. Truly a sight to behold!
Formerly known as Fraser Island, K’gari translates as paradise and is the world’s largest sand island, with an area of over 184,000 hectares. It is a world heritage site and, quite rightly protected for everyone to see and enjoy.
Abeno Harukas is Japan’s highest building, with its observatory at the very top. Occupying the 58th, 59th and 60th floors, it boasts incredible views of the Osaka skyline as well as far into the distance of Kyoto, Kobe and the Rokko mountains. 🗾
