If Adani had quoted ₹146 for Ahmedabad while another bidder offered ₹177, Adani wouldn't have won.
Instead:
Adani → ₹177
NIIF–Zurich → ₹146
AMP Capital → ₹127
GMR → ₹85
The highest per-passenger concession fee was the deciding financial parameter.
The same principle applied across all six airports.
That's why the actual bid sheet matters more than political shorthand.
“Why was Adani allowed to win more than two airports?”
Because there was no two-airport cap in the final tender conditions.
That's an important distinction.
A restriction may be discussed during policymaking without becoming the rule ultimately adopted.
Under the final framework, bidders could compete across the six airports.
Adani did — and submitted the highest financial bid for every one.
Just understand one number.
Total Govt. Bank Employees in India - Approx 7.5 Lakh
Let's assume an average of 5 votes per family - self, spouse, parents, siblings.
7.5 Lakh x 5 = 37.5 Lakh Votes
These are the ones who work 10-12 hours daily, execute every single Govt. scheme on the ground, and still get abused, face immense pressure, and fall sick.
And with them are their relatives and friends who see their condition every day.
These 37.5 lakh votes will definitely think twice now.
Because the question being asked in every banker's house today is - If you can't think about your own family, how will you think about the country?
2015 vs 2026 - The Reality of Banking
Staff in 2015: 8.44 LAKH
Population: 131 Crore
Govt. Schemes: Only a handful
Work: Mostly Banking
Staff in 2026: 7.63 LAKH
Population: 146 Crore
Govt. Schemes: Jan Dhan, MUDRA, JJBY, PMSBY, APY, SVANidhi, Vishwakarma, PMAY, DBT + KYC, CASA, Audit, Compliance...
Every scheme is executed through Banks.
Customers 3x, Workload 10x.
Staff Decreased. Work Increased.
Banks are still running at 100%, because someone inside is silently holding it all together.
Who will think about them?

The Unseen Reality of Public Sector Bank Employees in India
Public Sector Banks are the backbone of the Indian economy, yet their employees live in a strange paradox.
They do NOT come under the State Government, nor are they treated like Central Government employees.
But the result? They get the benefits of NEITHER.
1. No Pay Commission benefit from either Centre or State.
2. No Diwali Bonus, no festive ex gratia that other government departments get.
3. They implement every single Government scheme Jan Dhan, Mudra, PM Awas, Social Security schemes, Election duties, but when it comes to recognition, they are forgotten.
They work for the Government, they work for the Nation, but they are not considered Government employees when it comes to benefits.
Is it not time to think about those who handle the nation's money but are left behind when it comes to their own rights?

Ever noticed? Everyone rushes to the bank exactly at lunch hour.
The person at the counter is human too. He gets hungry too.
But we arrive right when he is about to take his first bite, and expect him to drop everything for us.
Sometimes, 10 minutes of your patience is someone else's peaceful lunch.
