Excited to share some recent milestones from my latest trip to Canada!

During my 21-day trip to visit my two sons studying at McGill University in Montreal and also to visit family in Southwestern Ontario, I completed and sold 9 new original paintings while there for my Canada Wildlife Discovery Series; including my 104th Artist Exchange.

These three featured here are my first Live Edge Canada Wildlife pieces, with big thanks to my brother-in-law for access to his Live Edge stash in his back shop:

The Live Edge Golden Moose, The Live Edge Bronze Eagle and the Live Edge Bronze Bass

Each one features a hand-carved medallion set into a richly textured, live-edge style surface that celebrates the spirit of Canadian wildlife.

These sales, along with my recent sale of another one of my popular Tenochtitlan Butterfly Series on Oct 4th at the WenMiao Art Exhibition in Wenjiang, Sichuan Province, over the Chinese National Holiday, brings my total original artwork sales to 1,142 (plus 104 Artist Exchanges) since early 2017.

As part of my Art Strategy Foundation's program and ethos for international friendship I also gave out 31 Hongbao Paintings (15 x15 cm original oils) to children and seniors at my live painting event, for a running total now of 1,257 Hongbao Paintings delivered under that program over 10 years.

Grateful for the collectors, the exchanges, and the continued opportunity to create work that connects people to my art, nature and craftsmanship.
