Qween Jean earned the award for Best Costume Design of a Musical for her work on “Cats: The Jellicle Ball,” a ballroom-inspired reimagining of the classic production.

She is an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Besides her love for music, her hobbies are reading, adult coloring, puzzles, and spending time with family. Josy currently lives in uptown Manhattan, Inwood.

Josy and her parents were born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She arrived in New York🗽 at the age of 5 years old and grew up in the Queens neighborhood of Laurelton.
She produced free and accessible arts and cultural events, such as music, dance, theater, opera, comedy, puppetry and family programs, in all five boroughs of New York City.
