Yet a string of extremists have been out campaigning for Restore candidate Marlon West ahead of Thursday’s Greater Manchester mayoral election.

Reform conducted its own investigation, and chose to keep him as a councillor regardless.

The matter is now before the court but Reform UK should explain why its own findings were not enough to disqualify him from representing the party.

BREAKING: Reform UK councillor Glenn Gibbins has been charged under the Communications Act 2003, in connection with a 2024 social media post referencing the Nigerian community.
