@VickiGassel @vexedinthecity This is true. However, I don't believe block grants to states are going to give special ed students what they need. Too much danger of the money becoming a voucher program so parents can send their typically developing kids to private schools.

@vexedinthecity Not Title I. IDEA. That's the special education law. Also, it's true, special education doesn't cover temporary injuries like a broken ankle (unless they result in permanent disabilities). (School psychologist here, but I don't really hang in this place anymore.)
