HCC is proud to partner with @BloombergDotOrg on a Skilled Trades Initiative, helping more young people access technical training, paid work-based learning, and direct pathways into Registered Apprenticeships and high-demand trades careers. Learn more: https://t.co/4sdBibvUl6
America needs more skilled trades workers — hundreds of thousands more.
We’re launching a first-of-its-kind, $90M national initiative to help 15,000 high school students across nine regions in seven states step directly into these high-wage, high-demand careers through hands-on technical training and paid work experience.
Together with unions, employers, school districts, and city halls, we’ll help modernize skilled trades training and power America’s future workforce.
HISD is thrilled to join this initiative to expand pathways into high-demand skilled trades careers, increasing access to dual credit, pre-apprenticeship & registered apprenticeship opportunities.
Together, we’re increasing the long-term economic mobility of even more students.
The U.S. has millions of job openings in the skilled trades, but far too few trained workers to fill those roles. Our $90 million investment in skilled trades education & apprenticeships will help create direct pathways to those opportunities for 15,000 students across the U.S. https://t.co/I0Gdhn5I0A
