@caprioleio@coinbureau bitcoin is not built on encryption, it's built on signatures. schnorr and ecdsa keys are signature keys, not public encryption keys. maybe you could repurpose them for el gamal or something, but that's besides the point, and covering for the usual confusion trap of "encryption"
