Che Guevara – The T-Shirt.
Is there a sillier sight than a Westerner wearing a Che T-shirt?
The face is everywhere: the beret, the star, the faraway gaze. A photograph taken in Havana in 1960, now printed on shirts, mugs and posters, manufactured in factories and sold for profit.
The great enemy of capitalism became one of its best-selling brands.
So let’s look at the man behind the T-shirt.
Ernesto Guevara was born in Argentina in 1928, into a comfortable family, and trained as a doctor. Before the revolution, he toured South America on a motorcycle. Hollywood later made a film about it. The romance practically writes itself.
In the Sierra Maestra, a peasant guide was suspected of informing on the rebels. Che shot him himself. In his diary, he recorded: "I ended the problem with a .32 caliber pistol."
After the communist victory in Cuba in 1959, he was put in charge of La Cabaña, the fortress prison in Havana. Revolutionary tribunals. Firing squads at dawn. Dozens, possibly hundreds, were executed under his authority. At the United Nations in 1964, he said it plainly: "We have executed, we are executing and we will continue to execute."
He founded Cuba's first forced-labour camp, for "re-education" – the forerunner of the camps where the regime later sent homosexuals, priests and dissidents.
Then they gave him the economy: first the central bank, then the Ministry of Industry. He signed Cuban banknotes simply "Che." In 1962, Cuba introduced the ration book. It still has one.
That same year, during the missile crisis, he said that if the Soviet missiles had stayed under Cuban control, they would have used them – against the heart of the United States, New York included.
In his essay Socialism and Man in Cuba, he praised hatred as an element of revolutionary struggle, describing it as what turns a man into "an effective, violent, selective and cold killing machine."
In 1967, he was captured in Bolivia and executed. He was thirty-nine.
Castro is remembered as a ruthless dictator. Che is remembered as a hero.
The difference? Che didn’t live long enough to rule Cuba for decades. We will never know whether he would have been worse than Castro.
Trotsky was the "good communist" who lost. Che is the other kind: the one who died young. Death froze him at the age of the poster.
Next time you see the T-shirt, remember what it represents: the portrait of a man who helped build a revolutionary system of executions and forced labour, printed by capitalism and worn by useful idiots, the very people he would have sent to the camps.
To those who seek to create positive change in Cuba - now is the time.
The disappointment of failed promises, corruption, and the privileged lives of only a few; seize this opportunity to create the change you desire through a discrete partnership with the CIA.
“Cuba's future belongs to those who act. Seize the moment and build the change you want to see. No more broken promises, rampant corruption, or tolerating an elite class living in luxury while the citizens are ignored. Now is the time.” -#SOUTHCOM Commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan
🚨 JUST NOW: President Trump calls for a NATIONAL BOYCOTT of the WNBA after the league refuses to act on the trashy players walkout out on the USA National Anthem
"It's a big deal going on. They LEAVE THE COURT when the national anthem's playing. The NFL did that for a while, they stopped because people stopped WATCHING. You should do the same thing with women's basketball unless they [fix it]."
NFL ratings tanked during the kneeling era, and the league changed course!
The WNBA players get rich off America then disrespect it.
Hit them where it hurts and TUNE THEM OUT
The WNBA should be ripped apart.

These are the economically illiterate rubes who Mamdani has hoodwinked and are pushing socialism. "I'm a Dior bag socialist" and she says there's enough wealth in this country where nobody should have to live in poverty, but it's being hoarded by 10 guys.
The combined wealth of the 10 richest guys in America is $3 trillion...now keep in mind, kids, they don't have that in cash. That's the combined value of all their businesses. If you were to seize 100% of all their assets, you'd have to compel the sale of all of their stock and their entire businesses. You wouldn't eve be able to get the full $3T because the forced sale of their stock and businesses would crash the entire market and you would only get pennies on the dollar. Not only that, by seizing the means of production, you've now decimated businesses that employ 2 million people...these are taxpayers. Those businesses generate wealth and tax revenue, every year, in perpetuity...if you wipe them out, you collapse the entire economy and all the tax revenue required to fund all your social services.
But even in this imaginary Mamdani world, if you were to somehow seize $3T, that might sound like a lot, but that would only fund government for 5 months. That's it. Then it's gone forever, and all the annual wealth and revenue that their businesses create would be gone, causing a cascading collapse of tax revenue that would make the entire government go belly up. Even if you were to distribute that $3T as direct cash payments to every American, you know how much that would give you? $8,900. That's it. 4 months rent, at the expense of wiping out the entire American economy.
When I tell you these communists are stupid...I mean, they are dangerously stupid. They are truly like children; they fundamentally lack any understanding of how things work, so they can LARP as adults in this fantasyland of free everything.
And listen to what she says at the end...it perfectly sums up everything wrong with these socialists: "I'm not a political scientist, so if that's wrong, I don't care"
I can't stand these people. They are going to destroy our civilization.
The @WNBA players of the Atlanta Dream @AtlantaDream and Golden State @valkyries, who left the court and headed to the locker rooms during the U.S. national anthem in both Game 1 and Game 2 of the 2026 WNBA Finals, should be ineligible to play on the U.S. Women’s Olympic Basketball Team.
The WNBA rulebook states that players, coaches, and trainers should stand and line up in a dignified posture along the sidelines or foul line during the national anthem.
