Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Creator of the Universe, thank you for your dazzling imagination. Set a fire inside us that burns with your love. Help us to shine as you shine, so that people might not see us but see you shining through us.

We lost a giant in the faith, shaker of the movement, and grandfather to all, Dr. John Perkins. A life well lived and a job well done.

"Stripped of the hero capes and camouflage, there is still room in the mercy and grace of God to risk and to fail and to try again. I am loved. I am accepted & forever reconciled to the God who made and chose me." Donna Barber

We are praying for those affected by gun violence in Bend, Oregon, Little Village in Chicago, and more. As we pray, we're also working to address the roots of gun violence in our communities.

Divine companion,

You are a God who rejects self-sufficiency even in your own personhood. That you exist in a multitude—in a sacred community not only with the cosmos but also within yourself—is a mystery to us.

"This is what neighbor love looks like in practice: Realizing that you might not understand my pain but committing to taking it seriously. Perhaps then, love can cast out our fears of getting it wrong and stretch us enough to be in community with one another." - Amy Kenny

Lord, settle my heart.
Still my fears.
Help me to trust Your timing more than my impatience.
Lead me not with anxiety, but with the deep, gentle pull of Your peace.
I will wait for You, because I trust You.
Amen.
