A6: Well, the Fall Fest Mega would have been nice, but that was this past weekend & life was too busy to go this time. So, it would be nice to get a cache souvenir or two before year end, but I suppose my main goal right now is to replace a few missing hides. #USGeocachingHour
A5: I don't tend to be in the woods caching when & where hunting is taking place. If I was, I might try to make more noise, or I could dig out a safety vest to wear & be more visible. #USGeocachingHour
A4: I wouldn't call this the best fall foliage I've seen while caching, but it's pics I could find on my laptop of fall foliage while caching, from back in 2021. It's a park in Halifax while running through the steps of a multi I hid. #USGeocachingHour
A3: I suppose a battery operated leaf blower would be the prime TOTT for that scenario, but I don't have that, & it would be heavy to lug to each cache. So, I might just use by hands, or if I was smart, find a limb on the ground to sweep leaves away. #USGeocachingHour
A2: I would say the lack of bugs and trees turning colour are two of the attractions. Too bad there isn't more time to relax & enjoy said colours. #USGeocachingHour
A1: Evening folks. Islander1988 in Nova Scotia. No caching or tall tales from the weekend. It sounded like it might be wet, but the wet seemed to come at night & be okay during the day. That changed today though. #USGeocachingHour
A6: Mother Nature decided Tom's geocache was too easy & needed more camo. Now, just a couple months till a foot of snow can be added.... #USGeocachingHour
A5: Without a car I'd be much more limited in what would be accessible. No public transport where I live outside of town, and the caches I could easily walk to I own or have found. With my bike I could still reach some with enough pedalling. #USGeocachingHour
A4; I'm actually a fan of chai; it's one of my favourite flavours of tea.
Fun fact: the word for tea in Ukrainian & Russian is chai. So would chai tea be chai chai? #USGeocachingHour
A3: I tend to keep one or two flashlights in my backpack, but a headlamp would be preferred if I had/remembered it to have my hands free. I now have a few different rechargeable headlamps which are nice to avoid running through batteries. #USGeocachingHour
A2: If I'm at an EC I'd likely try it, but they're not something I seek. I have 2 or 3 from my trip to BC years ago I never logged. I'd have to try & find my notes/pics (the latter easy, the former... I shoul've take a pic of too). #USGeocachingHour
A1: Evening folks. Islander1988 here in Nova Scotia. I haven't gotten the souvenir yet, & likely won't. I'm heading to the city tomorrow, but will likely be busy till after dark. If I had one more day, maybe I could've snuck it in. #USGeocachingHour
A6: Well, part of me says Ukraine, to see people I know & finally do maintenance on my caches still active there, but given the war it might fail the "leisure" criteria. So let's go with visiting Australia & New Zealand to see a different part of the world. #USGeocachingHour
A5: Well, if work needed a team building event, you could try to solve a puzzle cache & find it. For school, you could do a presentation on any aspect of caching, like the GPS system and rise of location based games. #USGeocachingHour
A4: Maybe the Carolina Panthers, simply because the panther was a symbol of my high school. So, maybe some panther-themed swag inside, or all the swag be black. #USGeocachingHour
A3: This is a dangerous question since I have a lot of hides & I'm liable to say something I don't always do myself. ;) But maybe try to make a nano or P&G more interesting by doing something to the container.hide to make it more interesting & stand out a bit. #USGeocachingHour
