It's #Survivor50 finale day! To prepare, might I suggest spending all your free time between now and then reading this comprehensive, entertaining-if-I-do-say-so-myself 49-season ranking I wrote for NPR? (We'll add #Survivor 50 tomorrow morning.)

If you're about to enjoy a three-day weekend, might I suggest spending it inside and reading approximately 29,000 words of analysis, jokes, and weird offhand remarks about all 50 seasons of #Survivor?

For months, I've been re-watching all 50 seasons of #Survivor as I write a roughly 30,000-word (!!!) ranking for NPR. Lord willin' and the creek don't rise, it'll publish the week of the finale, but in the meantime, here's a live look-in at me mainlining Survivor 46:
@billboard Quick correction to this piece: Alex Warren's "Ordinary" has been No. 1 for 9 weeks, but those weeks aren't consecutive as the article states; his run was briefly interrupted by the debut of Sabrina Carpenter's "Manchild." (This was wrong in last week's Chart Beat column, too.)
never thought i’d FIND the tiME to post ON here again, especially out of the BLUE, but here we are, feelin’ friSKY
There’s a secret code in there — perhaps you can find it!
Same handle as here. Also you should join me. Okay later bye!
New All Songs Considered, in which @nprobin and I discuss some of our favorite funny songs with the aid of our trusty new intern, @alyankovic.

So wild and surreal that this exists; I guess we're officially a household name? Kudos to the SNL set designers, who did a beautiful job -- especially with the cutout names on top of the shelves!

@dcbrrrandt@nprmusic Courtesy of the great @tramplamps! I'll dig around the shelves and see where that print went -- it probably just got buried under other stuff. It deserves to be resurfaced (and tattooed on people's bodies forever), for sure!
@willfromto@adamhchase I'm in my early 50s, have a catastrophically poor sense of direction, panic in the face of logistics, can only sleep when hooked up to an expensive machine, and spend all my travel time obsessively playing Pokemon GO. Otherwise, I'd be perfect for Jet Lag!
@adamhchase Aw, that's wonderful to hear! And I'm sorry about all those rejected applications -- we clearly missed the boat, but I'm glad you wound up making Jet Lag instead.
Two of my favorites are "There She Goes" by The La's and "Crush Story" by Too Much Joy. But you should describe your own favorite crush songs for an upcoming All Songs Considered special! (Or steal mine; I'm not on that episode.)
What’s your go-to song you put on a mixtape or playlist to let someone know you’ve got a crush on them? Send us a voice memo and we may feature it on an upcoming show ❤️ https://t.co/3QUx9XnKms
@sgummadi83 If we were talking Vikings or Bears, I couldn't do it. But in this case... literally upwards of 3, maybe even 4 percent of my rooting interest in Saturday's game was the idea of Detroit getting to host the NFC Championship Game. Rooting for y'all -- hope you're enjoying the ride!
Bummer to see the Packers' season end, but this was supposed to be a 6-11, 7-10 rebuilding year. Jordan Love is for real (that last throw aside), and somehow I never once saw him gripe about his young receivers. A refreshing change of pace! Good time to be a Packer fan. #GOPACKGO
