Agricultural Relief is back on the table again ahead of Budget 2027 and this time there are three roads it could go down.

Government could push ahead with the changes that were paused back in 2025, scrap them altogether, or bring in a new capped version like they have in the UK. Whichever way it goes, it could have a real knock-on effect for family farm transfers.
