10:03 AM - 8 Children (7 slight, 1 serious) and 5 Adults (all slight) were transported to area hospitals after a collision on I465 NB at MM45, flipped a school bus on its side and heavily damaged an Indiana State Police Vehicle. #ISP is investigating the cause. Multiple calls

to #MESA 911 reported the accident and #IFD command, while enroute, requested the incident be upgraded to a Mass Casualty. This allowed for the early deployment of much needed resources and ambulances based on the potential number of injuries.

10:37 AM - #IFD Firefighters rescued and resuscitated a 63 year old woman after her house caught fire and she became trapped. Multiple calls to MESA 911 reported flames showing from the front of the structure at 220 S Fenton Ave and the fire was upgraded to working while enroute.

10:52 AM - 23 year old Gabriel Padgett is thankful to be unharmed after becoming trapped in dirt up to his shoulders for several hours earlier today. #IFD was dispatched to 2228 W Washington St. for a reported trench collapse. Workers from Gradex told IFD the man had been trapped
