To dive deep into the opportunities and challenges around hydrogen transportation and blending, PNGRB, in partnership with the National Green Hydrogen Mission and IIT Ropar, is convening the National Conference on Hydrogen Transportation & Blending on 9–10 October 2026.

Over two days, we bring together brainstorming sessions on research, safety and standards, industry preparedness and international perspectives— shaping the road ahead for hydrogen in India’s gas networks.

#WATCH | The Haryana Department of Technical Education and IIT Ropar have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.

The collaboration will focus on exploring new dimensions of employment-oriented education and fostering innovation in the state.

As part of the partnership, both institutions will also work together on skill development initiatives aimed at enhancing the employability and capabilities of Haryana’s youth.

Strengthening Cyber Security Capabilities

CISF Airport Sector and IIT Ropar SCALE Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate specialised Cyber Security Training for CISF personnel.

The MoU was signed by Prof. Rajeev Ahuja, Director, IIT Ropar and Shri Senthil Avoodai Krishna Raj S., IPS, IG/APS-I, CISF, in the presence of senior officials from IIT Ropar, including Dr. Sarang Gumfekar, Coordinator & Director, SCALE Foundation; Dr. Shashi Sekhar Jha, Dean & Head, Centre for Drone & Autonomous Systems; Shri Santosh Kumar Suman, Sr. Comdt./CASO ASG Chandigarh, distinguished faculty members and CISF officers.

The interaction explored collaboration in AI/ML, Drone & Counter-Drone Technologies and Graduate & Postgraduate programmes marking a significant step towards strengthening CISF’s cyber security preparedness, technical expertise and technological capabilities.

CISF Takes a Major Leap Towards Strengthening Cyber Resilience

A significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between CISF and IITRopar on 07 August 2026 to launch an advanced Cyber Security Training Program (Cyber Commando).

The MoU was signed at the IIT Ropar campus by Sh. Senthil Avoodai Krishna Raj S., IPS, IG (APS-I), CISF and Prof. Rajeev Ahuja, Director, IIT Ropar, in the presence of Sh. Santosh Kumar Suman, CASO, ASG Chandigarh, Dr. Sarang Gumfekar, Coordinator and Director, SCALE Foundation, and Dr. Shashi Sekhar Jha, Dean & Head, Centre for Drone & Autonomous System.

A landmark initiative to build a highly skilled Cyber Commando Force equipped to tackle emerging cyber threats, provided free of cost to CISF by IITRopar.

From safeguarding physical frontiers to securing the digital domain, CISF continues to evolve as a future-ready force committed to innovation & capacity building.
