The IVC deluxe 2LP pressing of ‘Swan Songs’ by Hollywood Undead features seven bonus tracks and is pressed on two-color “Swan Songs” Galaxy Vinyl. Limited to 3,000 individually numbered copies, it’s the first ever pressing coming in a gatefold jacket. The packaging is matte printed with a chrome HU logo, and includes a bonus two-sided HU turntable slip
mat.

Armed with mysterious personas, party-rap lyrics and an aggressive, exuberant fusion of hip-hop, hard rock, and pop, Hollywood Undead exploded from MySpace darlings to bona fide stars. On their 2008 debut, the group enlisted production help from Danny Lohner (Nine Inch Nails) and Don Gilmore (Linkin Park) to create an album that, to quote The Punk Site, “swaggers through your speakers in [a] self-confident, cocky way.”

Album opener “Undead” interpolates and upends the riff from Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train” to set the scene for the rest of the album. The minor-key party vibe of “Everywhere I Go” mingles with the group's ode to their home state in “California,” while album standouts “No. 5” and “Young” deliver the record's catchiest hooks, placing the group beyond their rap-rock peers. “If you’re looking for the soundtrack to that one crazy party,” wrote The Punk Site, “this just might be the little gem for which you seek.”

It features the album in a gatefold jacket for the first time, plus a bonus collector’s CD of the full remastered album, and a free TCM logo sticker.

Arriving four years after their landmark debut Vegas, ‘Tweekend' found Las Vegas electronic music pioneers The Crystal Method pushing their big beat sound into louder, heavier and more arena-sized territory. The duo spent years reshaping and reworking the album’s mixes, emerging with a record that helped move electronic music forward in the U.S. while refusing to stay locked into any single genre.

Anchored by the muscular breakout hit “Name of the Game,” featuring Tom Morello on guitar, and expanded by contributions from Scott Weiland on “Murder” and Jon Brion on “Over the Line,” ‘Tweekend' fused breakbeat pressure, rock bombast and late-night electronic pulse into one of the duo’s defining statements. As PopMatters wrote at the time, “the beats are big, full, and just as toe-tapping as ever.”
