In Jacmel, one hand pump was the community's only water source, and it was failing. When families displaced by violence arrived seeking safety, it couldn't meet everyone's needs.

With @DINEPA and @AECIDHaiti @AECID_es, IOM repaired 15 pumps, restoring water for 7,500+ people.

The visit follows months of engagement supporting new community representation mechanisms for residents to raise priorities on rehabilitation.

In Hinche🇭🇹, +1K students will return to classrooms as 2 schools once used as displacement sites are being rehabilitated - following the relocation of +1K internally displaced persons to a new transit center.
