Year 2 provisionally certificated primary school teachers recently completed their fourth workshop with us this year, this time focussing on integrated learning. 🧵

Facilitators @HABark1 and @Aratiatia1 led an exploration of integrated learning, a "newsboard" approach for engaging students with real events, a look at STEAM education and a hands on team activity about creating and digitally recording statistics about sound. 🧵

Beginning secondary teachers recently completed their third workshop in our Provisionally Certificated teachers (PCT) workshop series. Facilitators David Bradford and Stephen Ross led the day's kaupapa on literacy and numeracy across the curriculum at The University of Waikato.

Guest speakers Helen Bradford and Nikki Steward from St Paul's Collegiate in Hamilton also shared their experience in supporting students with special assessment conditions and learning support systems.
