Strengthening collaboration and advancing the project management profession in Hungary. 🇭🇺

As part of its ongoing mission to support Member Associations and strengthen the global IPMA network, the IPMA Executive Board held a strategic meeting in Budapest with representatives of Hungary’s two major project management associations, FŐVOSZ and PMSZ.

The Executive Board was welcomed by Ákos Bálint, Delegate of FŐVOSZ, József Czerna, President of PMSZ, and Marianna Sárvári, Board Member of PMSZ.

Led by IPMA President Prof. Dr. Mladen Vukomanović, the meeting provided an important opportunity to exchange perspectives on the current development of the project management profession in Hungary, explore new opportunities for cooperation and discuss how IPMA’s ecosystem, services and competence-based approach can further support the national professional community.

The discussions confirmed a shared commitment to deepening collaboration, strengthening the connection between the Hungarian associations and the wider IPMA network, and working together toward common professional and strategic goals.

This meeting represents another meaningful step in building a stronger and more connected project management community in Hungary. We look forward to continuing this cooperation and jointly contributing to the advancement of sustainable, responsible and future-oriented project management.

During the closing ceremony of the 10th IPMA SENET Conference in Belgrade, the first Project Management Fundamentals certificates of completion in Serbia were awarded to ten students who successfully passed the exam organized by Serbian Project Management Association – IPMA Serbia and the Institute for Management and Innovation.
