Our international election observation mission to Armenia’s 2026 parliamentary elections 🇦🇲 released its preliminary statement.

Despite extensive foreign influence efforts, including vote-buying & false narratives promoting pro-Russian narratives, Armenian voters resisted this pressure & made their voices heard at the ballot box. 🗳️

Voting was generally calm and orderly, with strong civic engagement. IRI observers found no systemic irregularities that compromised the integrity of voting or counting.

Our international election observation mission to Colombia’s 2026 presidential election has released its preliminary statement with findings & recommendations.

Colombians voted in record numbers, demonstrating a strong commitment to democratic participation. Electoral authorities administered the process with professionalism, technical competence, & resilience. Despite criticism and allegations of fraud, observers found no evidence of systemic deficiencies that could compromise the integrity of the vote.

IRI’s election observation mission was encouraged by the professionalism, capacity, and resilience demonstrated by electoral authorities despite baseless attacks on their credibility.

As results continue to be processed and verified, we urge all political leaders to act responsibly and refrain from unfounded claims that undermine confidence in the process and heighten tensions.
