Whitby's famous whalebones are being taken down this morning. They were installed in 2002 after being gifted by Whitby's twin town of Barrow in Alaska. Years of exposure to the weather mean the bones now need to be replaced. A new bronze arch is due to be installed next year

(1/2) Investigations continue into the death of a 4-year-old boy who was killed in a collision in Newark. Emergency services were called to Churchill Drive on Sunday following a crash between an off-road bike and a car.
(2/2) The boy, who was a passenger on the bike was declared dead at the scene. A 24 year-old man, who was riding the same bike was taken to hospital with serious injuries and arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. A thirty two year old man was also arrested.
Investigations are continuing after the death of a baby girl in Sheffield over the weekend. Police were called to a property in the Wincobank area of Sheffield on Sunday morning. The newborn baby was pronounced dead at the scene. 7 people have been arrested on suspicion of murder
