@_STARCORE_ Ik you said you’re closed but I would love one of these if/when you’re wrong to do more, on the condition you let me tip you generously because I’m uncomfortable paying $20 for customs this awesome
I don’t care. I don’t like Epic Games as a company. They are the antithesis of what makes PC gaming appealing in the first place. They directly ruined Rocket League. Epic Exclusives have prevented me and other people from supporting indie studios. They are toxic to the gaming space
When the little game projects I’ve been working on finally release you know that they’ll only be on Steam because I expressly think Tim sWeeney is a huge loser and is contributing massively to the games industry becoming worse
@FerretFlowerr this image has been sent to me by a few friends and I just thought it was funny but that makes sense. I don’t endorse it to be clear, I just hadn’t given it much active thought
I cashed out of CS2 almost entirely earlier this year, I actually played the game quite often and had a lot of fun with it
It just feels like the team working on CS2 are only interested in lightly maintaining it. I understand why Valve’s philosophy is how it is but CS2 is lacking many features of CS:GO and entire game modes
It feels like it’s on life support in so many ways right now and I actually started to experience the cheating epidemic firsthand. It’s really hard to love the game in its current state as someone that genuinely played and traded FOR FUN
And the terminal system is not it. It could’ve been great if it was like, just a few dollars to buy each tier of item (similar to keys), it would have been the best of both worlds. Instead it’s all just to try and milk whales with disregard for the rest of the player base.
That isn’t the problem with the image lol
This fundamental idea is good, silhouettes and shape language matter, I’ve actually done video analysis of this before, the problem is this image doesn’t explain why, how, or give any real examples of it. It doesn’t actually follow the principles in a meaningful way, it just shows a basic design and then a complex fluffy one with arrows pointing at random bullshit that doesn’t correspond with what is being pointed at.
It’s not a good demonstration of the principle at all, it’s an actively bad one
It’s not good advice lol
Actual slop advice that you would only take seriously if you don’t know anything about the topic, which is exactly the problem, it both doesn’t make sense and will give newbies wrong ideas.
Complexity and shape language are not accurately explained at ask by this picture. It is slop that only someone posing as an art tutor would post and be okay with
@Vyper_Z_Fox Yes, I think that regardless of AI or not the original post does a bad job of conveying what it is trying to show, the examples given are not good counterexamples to each other and the text on the image does not align with what it is pointing at (contextually)
