Drug trafficking fuels organized crime generating huge profits, expanding illicit supply chains, laundering criminal proceeds, and undermining governance, security, and development.
At Eastern University in Dhaka, a new generation of law students is stepping up to tackle human trafficking and migrant smuggling.
With @UNODC support, the university has launched a specialized Master programme.
So far, about 200 law graduates have completed it.
