8th April in History :
On 8th April,1929,Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt threw bombs into Delhi Central Assembly to protest against the passing of two repressive bills by British Govt, the Public Safety Bill and the Trade Dispute Bill.Their aim was to "make the deaf hear".
But Later,due to Killing of Saunders,Bhagat Singh was executed on 23 March 1931 along with Rajguru and Sukdev.BK Dutt survived his incarceration and later took part in Freedom movement.He died after a long illness on 20th July,1965.

Today, 6th April, 1930,Dandi March has ended. It is also known as Salt Satyagraha Or Salt March.Led By Gandhiji,this was a major nonviolent movement aimed to produce salt independently, which was prohibited by British Government through series of Laws. 1/n
