नरेंद्र मोदी हर हाल में जवाहरलाल नेहरू से बड़े हैं। नेहरू 35 करोड़ लोगों के प्रधानमंत्री थे, वो भी गाँधी द्वारा थोपे हुए। मोदी 150 करोड़ लोगों के प्रधानमंत्री हैं, तीन-तीन बार चुने हुए।

नेहरू को बनी-बनाई कांग्रेस पार्टी मिली, जिसकी 15 समितियों में से एक ने भी उनका अनुमोदन नहीं किया फिर भी उन्हें PM पद दे दिया गया। मोदी को एक ऐसी पार्टी मिली जो लगातार 2 चुनाव हारकर 10 वर्ष से विपक्ष में बैठी हुई थी। नेहरू चंद दिन जेल में रहे तो पिता मोतीलाल ने उन्हें सारे तिकड़म करके निकलवाया। मोदी को UPA काल में सरकारी एजेंसियों ने लगातार प्रताड़ित किया। नेहरू रईस खानदान से थे और नेपोटिज्म का उत्पाद थे क्योंकि उनके पिता भी कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष थे। मोदी की माँ ने दूसरों के घरों में बर्तन माँजा, स्वयं मोदी ने पिता के साथ चाय बेची।

हर तथ्य चीख-चीखकर यही कहता है कि नेहरू से मोदी कई गुना बड़े हैं। नेहरू ने तिब्बत से लेकर कश्मीर और लद्दाख तक पर एक के बाद एक करके ब्लंडर किए, मोदी ने दुश्मन को घर में घुसकर मारा। नेहरू ने देश को चीन से युद्ध में हार की तरफ़ धकेल दिया, मोदी ने 'ऑपरेशन सिंदूर' के जरिए पाकिस्तान के परमाणु संसाधनों पर वार किया। नेहरू की अगली 3 पीढियाँ ग़रीबी हटाने के नाम पर चुनाव लड़ती रही, मोदी ने 27 करोड़ लोगों को ग़रीबी से बाहर निकालकर दिखाया। एम्स के लिए राजकुमारी अमृता कौर को नेहरू से लड़ना पड़ा और अपनी ज़मीन दान में देनी पड़ी, मोदी ने कोविड-19 जैसी महामारी में दो-दो वैक्सीन बनवा दिए।

नेहरू बौने हैं मोदी के सामने। मोदी ने दुनियाभर में प्रवासी भारतीयों के भीतर स्वदेश को लेकर एक उत्साह का सृजन किया, नेहरू ने भारत को विदेश में सँपेरों का देश दिखाया।

There were a thousand questions running in my mind when I went to get this picture clicked, but because of the aura the energy prime minister Narendra Modi possesses I went blank.

People around him work with the speed of clock, ministers clear files way past midnight, officers are summoned anytime because that’s the speed Prime minister Modi demands from them.

There was a minister going to foreign conference, he got a call asking to get changed to a formal attire because he would be representing India on world stage, this was early in his tenure.

The sense of secrecy in operations, the sense of nation first in actions. Under his tenure nation has seen far lesser scams far lesser terror attacks and obliteration of naxalism from face of the country marks him the best prime minister India has ever seen.

I remember one of his speech where he said hum project lagayenge toh hum hee udghatan karenge. Changing lives of every Indian in some way or the other is not an easy job.
