Renewal of OCI Card is no longer required!
👉🏽 Have you obtained a new passport after attaining the age of 20 years?*
👉🏽 Or obtained a new passport after attaining the age of 50 years?
👉🏽 Or updated your personal particulars? (such as name, nationality, gender, etc.)
You no longer need to apply for a fresh OCI Card. Simply update your details ONLINE through the OCI Portal and download your updated e-OCI Card.
Here's the process:
1.) Visit the OCI Services Portal at https://t.co/1wqj5ASCip
2.) Log in, Click online registration, and then select OCI Miscellaneous Services
3.) Access your OCI profile by entering your:
🔸Passport number last linked to your OCI Card
🔸OCI Card number
🔸Date of Birth
4.) Select the required service:
🔸Passport Particulars Updation
🔸Personal Particulars Updation
🔸Address/Occupation Updation
5.) Complete the online application, upload the required documents and submit the application
6.) Your application will be processed online by the Indian Mission/FRRO
7.) Once your application is approved, your updated OCI Card details will appear on the dashboard. Click on the e-OCI Card tab to generate and download your updated e-OCI Card.
Important Notes:
* OCI Cardholders updating their passport particulars after obtaining a new passport on or after attaining the age of 20 years are required to mandatorily update their biometric details at the concerned Indian Mission/FRRO office or at an International Airport during the next international travel.
* Passport particulars must be updated within 90 days of issuance of a new passport. Ensure your application is submitted within 90 days to avoid a late penalty of US$25

OCI Cardholders, unable to download your e-OCI Card?
Can't generate your e-OCI Card because your registered email address is no longer accessible?
Update your email address on the OCI Portal to download your e-OCI card by following the next steps:
1. Visit the OCI Portal at https://t.co/jacOOEL70f and register as a new user using your current email address
2. Log in, click Apply Online, and then select OCI Miscellaneous Services.
3. Access your OCI profile by entering:
• Passport number last linked to your OCI Card
• OCI Card number
• Date of Birth
4. Select 'Email ID Updation' option, upload your OCI Card in PDF format and submit your application.
5. Once your application is approved, your OCI Card details will appear on the dashboard on the home page. Click on the e-OCI Card tab to generate and download your e-OCI Card.

The e-OCI (Electronic OCI Card) has been officially launched!
No more carrying your physical OCI booklet everywhere. You can now download your digital e-OCI Card on your mobile phone and present it at Immigration Check Posts and to airlines.
How to Download Your e-OCI Card (For Existing OCI Cardholders)
1️⃣ Log in to the OCI Services Portal: https://t.co/iJeqCUBzXJ using your existing User ID and Password. If you are not already registered, complete the registration process using the e-mail address provided at the time of your OCI application.
2️⃣ Once logged-in, click on the e-OCI tab on the dashboard.
3️⃣ Your application details will now appear. In the last column, click on Generate e-OCI Card.
4️⃣ Your e-OCI Card will be generated and made available for download.
5️⃣ Download and save the e-OCI Card on your mobile phone. You can present the digital version at Immigration Check Posts and to airlines whenever required.
Your existing physical OCI Card remains valid.
Download your e-OCI Card today and enjoy the convenience!
