Coaches 2027 G Lauren Brewster proved why she deserves to be on your radar this weekend at Heart of Texas. She got what she wanted when she wanted and it wasn’t anything the opposition could do about it! She’s a scorer, playmaker and very elite ball handler & athlete and her long arms and knack for the ball makes her very disruptive on the defensive end! She led us to a 3-1 record. Only loss coming in overtime!

When you don’t get the minutes, miss that crucial shot, make a critical mistake, don’t get that ranking, don’t get that offer, feel overlooked, etc don’t blame anybody else; just do these things:

1. Get better at the little things; fundamentals are essential
2. Work on skills that translate to the game
3. Remember that workout/practice you missed & remember that rep you didn’t go game speed or didn’t take serious and work harder
4. Be coachable
5. Be a student of the game
6. Get stronger mentally and physically
