Iminosugars are naturally occurring carbohydrates that, over the past five decades, have been mainly exploited to inhibit glycosidases. However, iminosugars are also inhibitors of glycosyltransferases, which are involved in cancer and bacterial infections.

Two weeks ago, our fellows were attending their next short course in transferable skills about 'business and financial analysis in drug discovery, patenting, entrepreneurship and regulatory affairs'. Thanks to @BioChemInf and @ActaInnovation for organising the course.
