@chrissieA2 @SlyForTheRight As I said yesterday, Kemi can't actually do anything about defence as she isn't in govt. So you saying 'it's too late and we nee need to up defence spending now' and seemingly blaming Kemi for that is very odd. Ditto your comment on Stamp Duty and Land Tax.

One thing my glorious 5 weeks away from here made me see clearer when it comes to politics is how tribal everyone is on here.
(Why did I ever come back)?

I will hold my hands up and say I am not innocent here either. It's too easy to quickly get sucked back your tribe.

We are all so far down our favoured political party's rabbit hole that we can't think straight. We oppose for the sake of opposing, without stopping to pause, and to listen to those not in our tribe.

For example, that video put out yesterday by Jenrick. So many people, including some Tories on here, took it at face value to be true, without waiting to see if there was more to come out on that story, which there was. People were eager to pile in on the new Immigration Minister without doing more research.

Of course, this is what Jenrick had hoped for. But thankfully this time the truth came out quickly.

We have no patience, no time nor willingness to debate, and absolutely no tolerance to look at politics with an open mind anymore.

It's very sad.

The point being though is that Reform blow with the wind, wherever they see a political point to be scored. Whine one week because everyone hates them and sneer at people another week. They don’t seem to understand why everyone hates them.
