Guys 😭 @MbalulaFikile is telling us Home Affairs was overhauled when Nkosazana Dlamini took office — not now under Leon Schreiber. Someone please tap him gently on the shoulder and remind him: it used to take 4 YEARS to get a passport, 1 year to renew an ID, and 9 months to get married — basically the same waiting period as a full-term pregnancy. Fast-forward to today: Home Affairs actually works, queues are moving, systems are online, boarders are secured and people are shocked because… things are getting done. Credit where it’s due — DA’s @Leon_Schreib has transformed Home Affairs in less than a year. Sometimes change is real, even when it’s inconvenient to admit it. 😅
