उत्तर प्रदेश में इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों को तेजी से अपनाया जा रहा है। वर्ष 2026 के पहले पांच माह में राज्य में 1.31 लाख से अधिक प्योर इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों का पंजीकरण दर्ज किया गया है, जो स्वच्छ और सतत परिवहन की दिशा में बढ़ते जनविश्वास को दर्शाता है। राज्य में 2,400 से अधिक सार्वजनिक चार्जिंग स्टेशनों के विकसित नेटवर्क और बढ़ती उपभोक्ता स्वीकार्यता के चलते ईवी मोबिलिटी को नई गति मिल रही है। वर्तमान में, उत्तर प्रदेश इस वर्ष ईवी विक्रय में नया रिकॉर्ड स्थापित कर सकता है, जिससे हरित विकास, स्वच्छ ऊर्जा आधारित परिवहन और भविष्य की गतिशीलता को और मजबूती मिलेगी।

HCL फॉक्सकॉम-मेसर्स इण्डिया चिप प्राइवेट लिमिटेड, मेसर्स एसेन्ट सर्किट प्राइवेट लिमिटेड, मेसर्स अम्बर इंटरप्राइजेज इण्डिया लिमिटेड, मेसर्स बोधिसत्व चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट को भूमि का आवंटन प्रदेश के औद्योगिक विकास को एक नई रफ्तार प्रदान करेगा। साथ ही ये निवेश परियोजनायें सेमीकंडक्टर के उत्पादन और चिकित्सा सेवाओं को बेहतर बनाने की दिशा में बेहद महत्वपूर्ण साबित होंगी।

The Cabinet has approved the setting up of a new semiconductor unit in Uttar Pradesh through a joint venture between HCL and Foxconn.

With a planned capacity of 20,000 wafers per month, the facility will produce display driver chips for mobiles, laptops, automobiles, and more.

The Secretary of Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department, Government of #UttarPradesh and CEO of #InvestUP, Shri Abhishek Prakash had a productive meeting with Shri Deepak Arora, CEO, SOM Group and Shri Satish Bhansali, CFO of the company today at Lok Bhawan, Lucknow.

The meeting revolved around the establishment of a mega manufacturing plant in Uttar Pradesh by Woodpecker Greenagri Nutrients Private Limited, a subsidiary of SOM Group; in the Khimsepur industrial area in Farrukhabad district. To be set up in 40 acres with a proposed investment of around ₹570 Crores, this integrated agri-processing project is expected to generate more than 1300 direct and indirect jobs. This manufacturing unit will focus on agri-based and agri-allied products including Ethanol, Glutton, Carbonated Drinks, Beer and animal feeds as its by-product etc.

Shri Abhishek Prakash, CEO of Invest UP identified this project as one of the crucial ones for the industrial development of the Madhyanchal region, citing the procurement of the raw materials to be sourced locally from the nearby villages and mandis. He also emphasized that this unit will not only boost the employment in the region but also contribute to the overall VAT collection of the state.

Whilst, the SOM Group CEO, Shri Deepak Arora appreciated the facilitation by @UPGovt and Invest UP for the prompt support they received at every level and recognized state’s industrial ecosystem as the best in the country.
