During our fertility journey, I was simply the support crew. I was very happy to support my wife, but in hindsight, it would’ve been nice to speak to someone who could relate to my fertility struggles and offer gentle support and reassuring advice- like @HIMfertility does today!

Thanks so much @OHughesRadio for speaking with us about our fertility struggles and about our #rowforfertility for @BBCOxford & @BBCSounds

We hope us opening up about our fertility struggles will get couples - and men particularly - talking about this important topic

[Owen Hughes 📻 @OHughesRadio]

I *briefly* researched the topic of fertility (it's Fertility Awareness Week) & it just seems an incredibly complex & tough process to have to go through.

🚣‍♂️@invitrow are ROWING the Atlantic to raise awareness 🤯 I spoke to them for @BBCSounds/@BBCOxford

Did you know? #FertilityEd is on high school curricula but what's taught is limited.
We're calling for comprehensive fertility education for teenagers & young adults so they understand fertility isn’t a guarantee & the impact of age & lifestyle.

Did you know? Male factor fertility problems are the most common reason for a couple to seek fertility treatment yet too often men’s fertility is not tested promptly.
We're calling for men’s fertility to be tested in a timely manner.
#Fighting4Fertility #NFAW22 @HIMfertility

[Invitrow @invitrow]

Through the IVF process I was
treated as a spare part. Men are not considered enough at the early stages - there are tests that can be done earlier in the process that could reduce heartache and increase chances of success, plus save your bank balance!

Did you know? Most employers don't see IVF as necessary medical treatment & there's no legal right to time off work for fertility appointments
We're calling for employers to recognise fertility treatment as a clinical necessity #FertilityInTheWorkplace #Fighting4Fertility #NFAW22

[Invitrow @invitrow]

You want time off work for fertility
treatment? Think again! It is not a legal right and not all employers recognise it as necessary medical treatment!

@FertilityNUK are campaigning for change, and we are fully behind
them!

Did you know access to IVF funding is dependent on where you live? 3 cycles are recommended but depends on your CCG

Do you think it’s fair that your postcode dictates if you have to pay for 1, 2 or even all 3 of your cycles?
