@TBONEGRIMMETT If you have purchased a nonresident license in the past and now need to purchase a resident license, we do require that you complete our Iowa Residency Application, available at https://t.co/N3huak8G3q. If you have any questions while filling out the packet, call 515-725-8200.
@IowaCommNetwork Ope, those whistle pigs are mischievous little guys, and like other burrowing animals, they like to dig. Although, they prefer fresh veggies and such over fiber optic cable! They're still hibernating in Iowa right now, so looks like @PAGameComm has some explaining to do π
@TPWDnews Uff da, you betcha, kinda cold down dere for ya.
Winter here is gonna just sneak right past so ice anglers (aka hardwater) are busy hauling in big fish!
Ope! When it gets chilly here, we put beans in our chili, dontcha know. You should try.
@mgcoleman All of the Walleyes pictured were collected from Rathbun Lake. The 2025 collection season was exceptional. We collected several Walleyes that were 28 inches or larger with a few that were 30+". All fish were returned to Rathbun Lake after they were spawned.
@mgcoleman Here's the link to the Application for Iowa Annual Hunting/Fishing License for Resident Armed Foreces Veteran - https://t.co/XmB8v4hLMR. After a veteran has submitted this application, a certification will be added to their record which will make the license availble to buy.
@Zach_Patterson7 Zach, 100% of license fees go directly to the Fish and Wildlife Trust Fund, which is managed by the Iowa DNR and spent exclusively for fish and wildlife-related research, education, management and expansion of opportunities in Iowa. (1/2)
@Zach_Patterson7 Recent misinformation suggests that Iowa DNR has discontinued our interior river Walleye stocking program. This is false. We remain fully committed to bringing high-quality Walleye fishing to your local rivers in Northeast Iowa and across the state.
