U.S. officials blame Iran for rising fuel prices, as if the public's memory is short enough to forget who actually initiated the war of aggression, and whose actions created the crisis that led to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and the disruption of commercial shipping.

This isn't a new trick, though. In 1939, Hitler similarly framed his invasion of Poland as a defensive action.

When the instigator of an unlawful 'war of choice' blames the victim for the fallout, should this be viewed as 'strategic brilliance', or is it simply a textbook symptom of "The March of Folly"?!

سيد عباس عراقچی وزیر امور خارجه جمهوری اسلامی ایران، بعد از ظهر امروز دوشنبه در راس یک هیات دیپلماتیک برای مشارکت در مباحث اجلاس سالانه مجمع عمومی سازمان ملل متحد وارد نیویورک مقر سازمان ملل متحد شد.

وزیر امور خارجه کشورمان علاوه بر شرکت در مباحث مختلف دستور کار مجمع عمومی سازمان ملل و تبیین مواضع جمهوری اسلامی ایران، با تعداد زیادی از مقام‌ها و وزرای امور خارجه شرکت‌کننده در اجلاس گفتگو و رایزنی خواهد کرد.

هشتاد و یکمین اجلاس سالانه مجمع عمومی سازمان ملل متحد با شعار «احیای اعتماد» به سازمان ملل، از روز سه‌شنبه با سخنرانی سران کشورها آغاز خواهد شد.

Washington still seems to assume that nations have neither memory nor the capacity for critical thought. It treats the world as if it were *Pluribus*: a hive in which minds are expected to switch off, eyes lock onto Washington’s lips, and its narrative is swallowed whole.

On one side stands a brutal economic war, deliberately designed to inflict maximum pain and suffering on every Iranian citizen. On the other stands the theatrical announcement of measures to stop Iranian officials from supposedly shopping at an American wholesale club.

They look past the sanctioning of an entire nation’s livelihood, then issue solemn statements about the sanctioning of a store membership card.

The propaganda is so crude and threadbare that it exposes the naivety of the mindset that launched an unlawful war of choice against the Nation of Iran, and helped deliver the United States to the embarrassing position it occupies today.

زبان و ادب پارسی، گنجی است نهاده در خزانه فرهنگ بشری و پلی است که قرن هاست جان‌های دور را به یکدیگر نزدیک کرده و میان ملت‌ها رشته پیوند زده است.

۲۷ شهریور، روز بزرگداشت استاد شهریار و روز شعر و ادب پارسی، مجالی است برای درنگ در این میراث گرانبها.
استاد شهریار زبان پارسی را خانه خویش یافت و شعر را آیینه‌ای کرد برای دیدن آنچه در هیاهوی روزگار از چشم ما پنهان می ماند. اما سهم او در این میان تنها خدمت به زبان و ادب پارسی نبود که یادآوری پاسداشت مامن اصلی این زبان نیز بود:

The German Chancellor speaks of Iran’s “war,” its “military nuclear program,” and Iran’s “proxies.”

This narrative is knowingly distorted. It was #USrael - not Iran - that launched a war of aggression, and Germany failed to show even the minimum moral courage required to deplore that.

Those Berlin labels “proxies” are independent actors with their own clear causes and calculations. They are fighting for self-determination, freedom, and dignity against occupation, aggression and subjugation.

Iran has no “military” nuclear program - no matter how often the Israeli fabricated 'big lie' is repeated by Israeli apologists.

Our region should not have to pay the price for Germany’s guilt complex or its habit of appeasement vis-a-vis bullies.

Germany cannot underwrite the "dirty work" and then pose as a champion of peace and a moral instructor.
