Congratulations to Amalia Castillo of Travis Middle School and Michelle Rodriguez of Farine Elementary for their outstanding performance at the Texas State Spanish Spelling Bee. Michelle placed sixth, and Amalia placed fifth among 47 competitors from across Texas. Next stop: the National Spanish Spelling Bee in Albuquerque next month! 👏✨

We celebrated the ribbon cutting of Baby University North, the districts second early childhood center made possible through the 2023 Bond. Located on the north side of the district, the new center expands access to high-quality early childhood services for Irving ISD employees and their children from birth to age 3. 👶🧸
