@RodrigoProp@StevenMcinerney Cl final we defended terribly! Conceded so many chances that inter (lukaku mainly) just couldn’t put away. Feel much more secure today
@StevenMcinerney Going long to haaland seems to be paying dividends rn also. Might be a change we’ve been forced to make but that doesn’t mean it isn’t effective!
@LNobbins Also has come out many times and said how much he loves the club and fans still - he wants to fight for his place but knows he’s fucked himself up with his bad habits so now he’s seemingly more on top of them, maybe we will see Jack back in his full glory
@LNobbins With home grown quota and cherki being the only attacking signing, after being linked with MGW Rodrygo and others this summer, I think they’ve realised there’s no point moving him on without some form under his belt. I expect to see him rotate in the middle with rayan
@NA1907_ We used to stand by our players when they are objectively being shit - even at the end people weren’t calling for the sale of Sterling. I didn’t hear even 10% of the vile things people are saying about Eddie and gundo (much bigger club legends)
@OfficialVizeh Stood next to Bruce Grobellar at the last Liverpool match of the 23 season, told me not to clap when Keita did his lap of honour because he was ‘fucking shit the whole time’. So much for ynwa
@vvk_blc@joebutters No they don’t - Doku, nunes, Jack, savio (only 1 season) all struggled in s1 and only came good 2nd season. Haaland (freak) akanji and Josko are the only players who hit the ground running, as pep defenders tend to (see stones, Laporte, Dias who were all insane after they joined)
@haidavr@thegingerwig Pure wingback at wolves vs fullback for us. He was often times the most advanced player down the left for wolves whereas semedo tends to sit deeper on the right. With nunes/cambiasso (or whoever we end up with) on the right he would likely sit deeper in our system
