An update from Maa Gambhiri (Coordinator of Isha Sacred Walks) about the current situation after the flash floods at the Nepal-Tibet border, and what Isha Volunteers are doing to offer every possible assistance.

Over the past two weeks, the entire Isha community has been deeply affected by the devastating flash floods at the Nepal–Tibet border. Throughout this difficult time, we have come together to support the affected families and one another.

Since the floods, teams across the globe—from volunteers on the ground in Nepal and other city centers to those supporting remotely—have mobilized to offer every possible assistance.

We continue to stand with the affected families, doing all we can to support them and keeping families and the wider community informed as relevant updates become available. Our thoughts remain with all those affected and their families.

Out of respect and solidarity for the Kailash pilgrims and everyone affected in the tragic floods at the Nepal-Tibet border, the final leg of Isha Gramotsavam scheduled from 4–6 September is being postponed.

We deeply appreciate your understanding, patience, and support during this time as we stand in solidarity with the people of Nepal and all those affected.
