It was almost a year ago that I posted about one of the most devastating cases documenting Israel’s use of Palestinians as human shields, that time involving two elderly men from my hometown of Beit Lahia in North Gaza.

On November 9, 2024, reports emerged that Israeli forces had released two elderly Palestinian men from Beit Lahia through the Zikim Crossing, only to carry out a strike that killed them as they approached Gaza City.

Their names were Nadi Abed Ma’rouf and Ali Mohammad Ma’rouf.

In October 2025, a photograph emerged showing the two men in their underwear, being taken hostage by two Israeli soldiers. Their families recognized them.

Today, another photograph has emerged, showing Nadi and Ali blindfolded and handcuffed, with an Israeli soldier standing between them, posing with his weapon.

Still many months later, these images will continue to tell an even more devastating story of what happened to these two elderly men.

May God have mercy on your souls, Nadi and Ali. And may those responsible for your killing and abuse perish in hell.

A Burger King employee has been fired for saying "Free Palestine" after a confrontation with an Isr*eli customer was filmed and shared online, quickly going viral across social media.

The incident took place at a Burger King restaurant in Pennsylvania, where employee Arianna Hamilton became involved in a heated exchange with a customer who was recording the interaction.

During the confrontation, Hamilton asked the customer where he was from. He replied that he was Isr*eli and pointed to the Star of David necklace he was wearing. Hamilton then responded by saying, "Free Palestine."

The customer uploaded the video online, where it rapidly spread across multiple platforms, sparking intense debate and attracting millions of views.

As the footage gained widespread attention, Burger King terminated Hamilton's employment.

Following her dismissal, Hamilton launched a GoFundMe campaign, which has since raised more than $100,000 from supporters who said they wanted to help her after she lost her job.
