@Lesleycubawelly @oneforthedr With this and the new laws legalizing Iwi militias under Bloomberg, the Labour government becomes more Trump like by the day
@Breakfaston1 surely the best question for the PM is asking her what date they anticipate 90% of the population in new Zealand will be fully vaccinated?
@Breakfaston1
I hope The PM is yelled at as loudly by JC on how the hell 90 port workers cannot be vaccinated as he yelled at (not entirely unjustified) Collins about Nat policy. Saying people aren't informed is ludicrous.
@TheAMShowNZ
I must take umbrage with you showing stealing of cheap cars like a Demio as a bit of a joke. people with not much income have them. the car is critical to getting to work for them or taking children to school. There are 1500 familes who can't do this any more.
@Breakfaston1 my father is 91 and no news about covid yet. I am a bit upset the elderly are not considered an immediate vaccination priority. Why aren't the press asking these questions. At the beginning of Covid they were a priority. Now ? Yeah, nah
@Breakfaston1 surely the prime minister saying it's okay to call someone a Karen thus approving some hate speech helps normalise hate speech. Surely any hate speech should be banned.
@Breakfaston1 it seems like TVNZ is now deliberately censoring the news. Nothing about South African troubles today yet it's the top news on BBC pages. It seems we can no longer rely on TVNZ for news any more
@Breakfaston1
Stuff is reporting today OT halting all 'reverse uplifts' back to Whanuau. No mention of this on TVNZ , maybe the are hiding the fact it totally destroys their narrative? It's a bit like fox news, report only what fits in with your narrative.
@1NewsNZ
Why is stuff saying that OT has immediately suspended 'reverse uplifts' and why is this not mentioned on tv 1 news today? Maybe it totally destroys their narrative?
@Breakfaston1 basic economics will show to that if you put a capital gains on Investment houses it will reduce demand as other investments become more attractive.
@Breakfaston1 why do statistics on house sales in nz never show how many of these buyers already have at least two homes. After all they can sell a house in 5 years with no capital gains. At a 40% tax this is a huge discount on purchase price
@Breakfaston1 is it now the law of unintended consequences that we have pushed child care costs up so high that they are now no longer affordable to most people, hence why children have to work. The same I might add I know has happened with aged care.
#CHEMCI. I wonder if it's now worth dropping your tallest defender to mark the other side of the goal on free kicks. Sounds stupid but how many goals would that have saved this week in premier league? At least 3 I Think
@1NewsNZ
Kiribati becomes a lot scarier when you see two maps showing how big their economic zone is and how close they actually are to America and in particular Hawaii. Cuban missile crisis anyone?
@1NewsNZ Does No-one else find it convenient that the Mongols gang has been arrested after only one year but the entrenched gangs in New Zealand that have been around forever have never been arrayed on thisnlevel.? Seems more to this story.
