@teddycasino@siegffred Ha? Wala sa pagiging bearer yan. Icall out nyo rin yung iba hindi si Mayor Leni lang. Stop being so selective. Hindi lang si Leni.
@pangungulila Because this will be used against her. Leni is the best choice for 2028 presidency and we wouldnโt want another duterte/marcos loyalists to be the head of this godforsaken land.
Parang kpop yan, walang sikat/at malakas na kandidato na pwedeng itapat sa duterte/marcos except her
@MlLFSFlLM But call the politician objectively
Almost all kakampinks called out Leni without even knowing the whole picture.
I thought pink movement taught everyone rationality but in almost all callouts for her, itโs presumptuous, all assumptions, and baseless accusations
@moonyeong10@_dacoconutnut This, also. Etiquette and decorum. We all know Leni Robredo since his vice presidency. Hindi siya bastos na leader. Regardless ng mga patama sakanya ng kalaban nya noon, hinaharap pa rin nya with the respect she has.
Hindi porket binisita sya ng isang israeli ay zionist na sya
@hygieiaCat@_dacoconutnut She cannot turned down the visit. She is the leader of the naga city. She needs to show up, a leader needs to show the diplomatic decency. Hindi yan porket ayaw nya sa tao, hihindi na sya. Kahit ayaw nya, she still needs to show RESPECT to the PERSON.
@_dominicu_san@_dacoconutnut Yes. Just what OP said, they donโt know that there are shades of gray. Itโs easy to say na she can reject the visit but politically, and it terms of diplomatic relations, itโs not.
Leni showed up because she needs to. Kahit sino naman lumapit sakanya, she still shows up
@_dacoconutnut Itโs easy to say that Leni can reject the visit. But in reality, as public leaders, itโs not. We donโt equate this with what happened to our ambassadors walking out during the recent speech. Leni still represents naga, she is a mayor, and as such, she still needs to show up
@_dacoconutnut This! Itโs good that we are being aware of what is truly happening and we know what we stand for. But we donโt make facts based on assumptions.
Pink movement taught us rationalization. And itโs hard to think that some rationalize on a single piece not as a whole
This is how everyone should react with what Leni Robredo did.
You question. You donโt conclude. You seek answers, not being presumptuous and discriminatory
Be curious first, know the discourse hindi basta basta maglalabel and ididiscredit yung acts of leadership niya
ARE THE FUCKING ZIONISTS infiltrating the Pink Movement? I want to know where @lenirobredo stand on the ongoing genocide in Gaza by the Zionist Israeli government of #Satanyahu I know the Philippines joined the UN walk out before the speech of Satanyahu a few weeks ago. โ๏ธ๐ฆพ
Her leadership was already demonstrated during her time as Vice President, and now as Mayor.
We can be critical without being presumptuous, and we can stand for Palestine without reducing every diplomatic gesture to an endorsement of war.
We can criticize the decision to meet the ambassador and ask what was discussed, but the mere fact that she showed up is not proof that she supports the war.
Question her actions, but give her the chance to explain them before judging her principles.
@pseudomai2113@Flexor_cist Respecting someone as a person is very different from respecting or supporting their actions. It is fair to question Leni and ask for an explanation, but not fair to automatically equate one courtesy call with support for Israel or label her a Zionist because of it.
@pseudomai2113@Flexor_cist Leaders can show up out of respect and basic diplomatic decency toward the person and the office they represent, without that being an endorsement of everything that person or their governmen has done.
If we are going to criticize Leni, then let it be based on her actual words,m and positions not simply because she received an ambassador. Ask what was discussed. Ask what she stands for. Look at her record. Those are fair questions.
People are too quick to judge Leni Robredo just because she showed up for a courtesy call. We all know her as someone who, despite differing sides and leadership, still chooses to show up out of respect for the person and out of basic decency.
We can stand firmly for a Free Palestine and still recognize the difference between diplomatic courtesy and political endorsement. Supporting Palestine should also mean being fair, thoughtful, and willing to distinguish between facts and assumptions.
@page__user@benofaco45882 We are for โfree Palestineโ, and we will scrutinize any Philippine officialโs dealings with the Israeli government. But donโt assume someone a Zionist based on a photograph or diplomatic courtesy alone.
@page__user@benofaco45882 Diplomatic courtesy is different from political agreement.
Your discomfort is understandable knowing the current situation of Palestinian people but remember that our country still maintains diplomacy with any country and a leader should show up regardless. Itโs decency
