This hits close to home. In the analog TV era, I was able to watch WBGU. Although WGTE is already the primary PBS station in the Toledo market, WBGU provides full coverage for fringe/rural areas, and this partnership is crucial in keeping PBS alive across all of northwest Ohio.
Vincennes PBS (WVUT) will end its PBS membership June 30, 2026, as a result of federal funding cuts to public media. The station will continue broadcasting as an independent public television station, known as WVUT-TV, serving the Vincennes-Terre Haute, Indiana market.
