@meacod @MitchPommers Have to say this has all been quite reassuring - most of the googling I did was basically "define your niche", "define your target audience", "SEO optimise everything"... which yes are probably good ideas, but also made it start feeling more like a job rather than writing for fun
@MitchPommers They are great for tech specific posts, but yeah not exactly a stamp making place. I'm looking at @substack - I found out about that one because of Dracula Daily, so it definitely seems open to a wider range of content ๐
@MitchPommers Exactly! I can definitely understand that struggle, the thought of sticking to one topic sounds somehow stressful... and definitely less fun I think
@MitchPommers Still figuring that part out tbh - brainstorm list is mostly a mix of tech stuff and literary analysis so far. Just whatever I feel like writing really - I've heard blogs are meant to focus on a niche but I want to deep dive into random topics
