There is a difference b/t cultural appropriation (a non-Inuk making $ by doing Inuit throat singing), assimilation (Inuit using microphones & snowmobiles) & acculturation (Inuit nearly losing throat singing due to colonial pressure).
Don't conflate the 3 ways that cultures meet.
