Oh yeah and AI is about to nuke the entire playing board. 🤪

It's gonna get real intense here soon.

Last year, as I was talking about how things are going to get worse before it gets better... Yeah this is what I meant. And it's gonna get a lot worse from here.

My perfect health and fitness hotel:

Sleep:
- strong functional AC for sleep
- black out curtains that actually fully black out the room
- Eight Sleep type matress for cooling
- no annoying LED lights everywhere in room (common)

Fitness:
- entire floor dedicated gym with everything you can think of: barbells, plates, kettlebells, running track, machines, etc
- sauna and steam bath
- hot and cold pools (like Japanese/Korean onsens)

Food and drinks:
- healthy clean food, meat, vegetables and fruit
- high protein food, smoothies
- CBD drinks and mocktails (no alcohol anywhere)

Activities:
- private or group fitness, yoga, Muay Thai, BJJ and running sessions

Extras:
- let people do their blood work there, nice excuse to travel somewhere cause getting blood work done is still very difficult in most of the world esp Europe!

There are roughly three kinds of people in the world:

1) those who focus on the past
2) those who focus on the present
3) those who focus on the future

Most people get stuck in (1) and live life largely as a bystander. They become life’s hall monitors as others wiz by them.

Some people are amazing at dealing with what’s in front of them (2) but are not able to think about what’s around the corner. They still do well and generally have a great life. They are wonderful people to hire after 0 to 1 and are optimistic contributors.

The last group of people (3) are extremely well rewarded for being right but the cost is high. They break the social norms, say the heterodox thing and generally are gruff and disagreeable to most others.

There is no right path, but if you don’t know which one you are, you are destined for a very unfulfilling existence because you will be unprepared to deal with other people and them living out their roles.

Learning shit fast made simple:
1) Do it 100 times
2) Look at top 10% outcomes
3) Compare differences between top 10% and bottom 90%
4) Incorporate those changes for next 100 repetitions
5) Repeat 1-4 until people call you a "natural"

I was feeling 'unfocused' when I woke up this morning. Whenever that happens I do a simple 6 minute protocol that sharpens my attention to start deep work.

1. Google Sri Yantra, get an image from google
2. Stare at the middle point without blinking for 2 minutes straight
3. Rest for 15 seconds and repeat 2 times more

Try it one time, the next time you feel all over the place, and you'll notice the difference.

What I hate the most about posting on X is I still get a lot of brain rot on my feed. I know when I come to post I'll get distracted for at least 10 minutes.
The problem? Consuming content doesn't help me help other people.

If you don't build wealth before AI displaces your job, you will be dependent on government transfers for subsistence. If you think making it right now is hard, you don't want to hang around and see when most of the wealth is generated by the AI-industrialists.
