Today is polling day and just like in sport the team and supporters in the background are my unsung heroes, without them having worked their socks off for 9 months to spread the message that Colchester deserves a cleaner, safer and ambitious future.

Opinions on this may vary. But even with differences in personalities the Conervatives core values and its best version is what's right for this Country.

Armed forces week, today its #reserves day and here in Colchester it culminates this weekend at Colchester Garrison show. Proud that #TeamCracknell is made up of a MOD civil servant, tri-service veterans, Navy and Army reserve officers and ex-special forces.
Great to be out on the door in St John's Area yesterday with Police, Fire and Crime Commisioner Roger Hirst discussing with residents the intiatives that are driving down crime figures in Colchester, and across wider Essex.
Appears Reform candidates were accelerated into positions without any vetting. Racism and Sexism has no place in public office. Disgusting!

I might not be what you traditionally expect from a Conservative politician, but the Country deserves a House of Commons that has core integrity and have pushed back when people attempt to stifle their campaigns or ambitions and most essentially listen to residents throughout.
Bringing pride back into our city has to start with politicians on all levels, putting often inflated egos and agendas aside to collectively work together.

My five pledges to you the residents of Colchester - no more empty promises from political coalitions in Colchester or no plan Labour with their expertise in dishonest literature. We can’t let them waft along in silence with no accountability for their past Council indecisions.
Brown sold the gold. He raided pensions. Then left a note confirming ‘there is no money’.
Now he’s helping Keir Starmer do it all over again.
