Gazetted posts outsourced to a construction company in Delhi is an outright betrayal of J&K’s youth. Public jobs are being handed to private companies, replacing transparency with uncertainty. Young professionals deserve secure, merit-based employment, job security instead of contracts with no future. Stop selling public jobs.
Our simple questions to the J&K Government:
Why are hundreds of crores being spent on outsourcing jobs to private companies? Who selected these companies and what was the selection process? On what basis are people being recruited without a transparent merit-based process? Will the government make these contracts and recruitment details public?
Former MLA from Shangus, Gulzar Ahmad Wani, has been nominated as the State Secretary of the PDP by Party President Mehbooba Mufti Sahiba. Congratulations and best wishes to him on his new responsibility.
At a time when the NDA government has strayed from the moral and constitutional vision of founding fathers of our country Justice S. Muralidhar has reminded the world that India’s conscience still lives on. Whether it was Delhi riots in 2020 or the mass slaughter of children in Gaza he has always spoken truth to power despite suffering the consequences .
When the world watches silently voices like his keep alive India’s enduring ideals of compassion, courage and justice.
Instead of answering solid inputs about 25000 back door appointments in a span of just 25 months the Chief Minister instead is conveniently time travelling. Should we take this as an admission of guilt? The cat is finally out of the bag.
Mehbooba Mufti Pays Glowing Tribute to Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.), Says Karbala Remains the Eternal Beacon of Justice and Sacrifice
Srinagar: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti has paid rich tributes to Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his noble companions, describing their unparalleled sacrifice in the plains of Karbala as the highest embodiment of truth, justice and steadfast resistance against tyranny.
“The eternal sacrifice of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his noble companions in the plains of Karbala is the zenith of human endeavour to stand by truth against oppression, justice confronting tyranny, and the refusal of a small caravan of righteousness to bow before the forces of Yazidiyat,” she said.
Ms. Mufti said Imam Hussain (A.S.) taught humanity that silence in the face of injustice amounts to a betrayal of conscience. She said his martyrdom transcends history and continues to inspire people across generations to uphold dignity, resist falsehood and make sacrifices for the greater good of the Ummah and humanity.
Referring to the suffering of oppressed people across the world, she said the message of Karbala remains profoundly relevant. “From Palestine to Myanmar, and wherever people continue to endure pain, persecution and the longing for justice, the spirit of Karbala reminds us that no darkness can extinguish the light of truth and that the blood of martyrs nurtures the cause of righteousness,” she said.
Joining the Muslim Ummah, particularly the Shia brethren observing Azadari with devotion, in paying homage to Imam Hussain (A.S.) and the martyrs of Karbala, Ms. Mufti urged people to use the solemn occasion for self-reform, strengthening bonds of brotherhood across sects and communities, and recommitting themselves to the values of truth, compassion and justice.
She also urged the administration to facilitate peaceful and traditional Muharram processions without restrictions, respecting the religious sentiments of the people.
“Let the timeless message of Karbala inspire us to build a Jammu and Kashmir where every voice is heard, every tear is acknowledged and every heart finds solace in justice and dignity,” she said.
Mehbooba Mufti prayed that Almighty Allah accept the Azadari of the faithful, elevate the ranks of the martyrs of Karbala, and bless Jammu and Kashmir with lasting peace, prosperity and unity. She said the Hussaini spirit should continue to guide society through these challenging times.
On this solemn occasion of Muharram, I pay tribute to Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his noble companions, whose unparalleled sacrifice at Karbala remains an eternal beacon of truth, justice, dignity, and resistance against tyranny. Their message reminds humanity that silence in the face of injustice is a betrayal of our moral conscience. As people across the world continue to endure oppression, the spirit of Karbala inspires hope, resilience, and the courage to stand for what is right. Many see this same spirit reflected in Iran’s resolve during its recent conflict with the United States and Israel.
Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir: PDP MLA Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi says, "You know how injustice was done to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The political grievances of the people remain unresolved and continue as before. The constitutional rights that were taken away from us must be restored. The entire leadership and the people of Jammu and Kashmir are sincerely striving for their restoration. If we remain committed and make sincere efforts, there is every reason to believe that the constitutional rights taken away after August 5, 2019, will be restored. We will continue to reiterate that wherever there is injustice—whether against us, against Palestine, or in any part of the world, we stand firmly in protest against that injustice"

I think there is less of a role for the government and more of our Muslim and Pandit brothers together. We are one, we are not different. @MehboobaMufti
