Not on Twitter anymore but wanted to share this if you’re not following us on IG. We started trimester 3 this week with 3 fully-functional weight rooms. The new A.M.P. Room (former cardio room) was completed this winter, giving us 11,000 sq. ft. of training space.
We were asked a price to take a 6th grade fball team a ride in our Limo, lost their coach/Dad to a car accident this year. We picked up at school, brought them to our place, gave them each a Bobblehead and threw them some passes. No charge. It’s all about the fans. 😀
Second week squatting since pulling an adductor getting out of the tractor 8 weeks ago. First set 10 @ 410, second set 8 @ 420 and this set of 6 @ 440. EVERY REP EVERY SET EVERY DAY.
Exactly why I have my boys lift. The old “stunt your growth” myth has been proven false by science over and over, and we know the benefits of resistance training for youth (when the child is mentally & physically capable under qualified supervision).
Choosing to wake up early to work out is a choice, a choice made to improve. A choice that makes your team better. A choice that creates responsibility, dependability, leadership, & work ethic. The easy choice is to sleep in, and not help your team or yourself. Whats your choice?
